At Baybrooke Village, our focus is on treating high acuity patients utilizing specialized treatment programs geared to each patient’s illness and requirements. The goal of the multidisciplinary team at Baybrooke Village is physical and medical recovery with a return to home and family. If you are unable to meet this goal we will assist you with a discharge plan to maximize your highest level of functioning in the appropriate community setting.

Physical Rehabilitation Services:
-Therapy available 6 days per week
-Weekly Rounds by Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation specialists from Legacy Physicians Group
-Speech Therapists certified in Vital Stim, Deep Pharyngeal Neuromuscular Stimulation & Lee Silverman Voice Therapy
-Physical Therapist NDT Certified

Accelerated Care Plus (ACP) Modalities available:
-Short-wave diathermy
-Ultrasound
-Electrical Stimulation

Rehabilitation Programs include:
-Contracture management
-Wound care
-Pain management
-Edema control
-Fall management and Balance Retraining
-Neurological rehabilitation
-Cardiac Rehabilitation
-Dysphagia Management
-Urinary Incontinence and Pelvic Floor Retraining

Clinical programming targeted for higher acuity patients
-RNs around the clock
-Nurses certified in IVs & PICC lines TPN certified
-Proficient with PCA pumps and pain management
-Proficient in peritoneal dialyses

Respiratory Therapy integration for complex cases
-Respiratory Therapist on staff
-Nursing staff trained for trach care
-Interdisciplinary trach weaning program
-High flow 02 concentrators

Complex Wound Care Programming
-Weekly Wound Care Rounds by specialists from the office of Dr. Ronald Scott
-Dedicated in house wound care nurse
-Nurses trained with wound vacs
